Over 140 supporters of the arts in McHenry County attended the 39th Annual Spring Luncheon Fundraiser on May 3, 2019. Chicago Tribune “Balancing Act” columnist Heidi Stevens was our guest speaker, sharing some of the stories behind the stories of the people she shines a light on in her column as well as the story of her own career path. She encouraged audience members to listen to their own voices and tell their stories.

Auction items included tickets to Chicago-area theaters, Hamilton tickets with a back-stage experience, artworks—watercolors, oil paintings, glass, jewelry—Cubs tickets, many gift certificates for experiences and dining, plus beautiful, creative, one-of-a-kind floral arrangements.
